About Us

Chantelle grew up ballroom dancing in her mother’s studio, where her love for dance began at a young age. She has competed throughout the United States and has also competed at the World Championships in England.

Ballroom dance is one of Chantelle’s greatest passions and has been a meaningful part of her life for many years. She is a homeschooling mom of five boys, who all ballroom dance as well. Chantelle is married to the love of her life, Christian Holman, who, to her delight, has learned how to sweep her off her feet on the dance floor.

Chantelle’s homeschool ballroom dance program has been going strong for almost 4 years in Pocatello, Idaho, where she continues to share her love of dance with homeschool students and families.

Mandy Ericksron has been teaching ballroom dance to youth for over 15 years, sharing her pasison for dance and mentorship with young performers. As a competitive dancer, she placed third nationally in Youth Ballroom during high school and continued her training at Brigham Young University, where she earned a degree in Dance with ballroom emphasis. Mandy combines years of performance experience, technical training, and a love of teaching to inspire confidence, artistry, and teamwork in her students.

Lydia Hendricks has been dancing with Gem State Ballroom Dance Company for three and a half years. Between theatre, voice, and dance she is very familiar with the stage, and being able to share her joy of ballroom with others through performing is one of her favorite things. She has done competitive ballroom for two years, competing across Idaho and Utah. The kind and hardworking community is another highlight of ballroom for her. Lydia has been providing private and small group lessons, and is excited to join Gem State Ballroom as a teacher.
